Did you know that sometimes the shape (profile) of the two blades on a pair of skates are not the same? That’s why the industry leader in skate sharpening recommends that all skates get contoured at time of purchase. Optimizing the performance of your skates is a combination of a good sharpening and a good contouring.

Blademaster^® is introducing a major innovation in skate contouring – the latest generation in its’ Custom Radius series: Single Point Contouring. This new system enables you to customize the profile of the skate blade with multiple radii. For example, a tight radius on the front of the blade a flat center portion, and a larger radius on the rear portion of the blades.
